Suggestions for Candida Condition

By Katherine Agranovich, DNH, PHD (c)

Always consult with your primary care physician before starting any health program.

The following are suggestions for education purposes only.  Katherine Agranovich is not a licensed medical doctor.  She is a doctor of Natural Health.

CANDIDA is a state of inner imbalance, not a disease. It is a stress-related condition marked as a compromised immune response. Candida yeast is common, normally living harmlessly in the GI tract; in case of prolonged emotional/ mental stress the Candida will begin to grow without suppression of the weakened immune system.
It is being noted that restricted diets do not work over an extended period of time because the person can become unbalanced in other ways and cannot adhere to a strict diet.

Foods you can have:

PLAIN KEFIR, KEFIR CHEESE, YOGURT (PLAIN OR VANILLA) OR YOGURT CHEESE
ALMONDS OR ALMOND BUTTER,
FRESH AND STEAMED VEGGIES (ONIONS, GARLIC, GINGER, BROCOLI)
POULTRY, SEAGRINS, OLIVE OIL, EGGS, MAYO, BROWN RICE, AMARANTH, BUCKWEAT, BARLEY, MILLET, MISO SOUP,TOFU,
VEGGIES PASTAS, RICE CAKES/CRACKERS,
CITRUS FRUITS, GREEN TEA, HERBAL TEAS

For the first 6 weeks this is a diet to follow to stop Candida from growing

Herbs/supplement

Kill the yeast:

Pau d’ Arco tea 4 cups daily
Grapefruit seed extract
Olive leaf extract

Clean out the dead yeasts and wastes:
BWL-TONE IBS

Detoxify the liver
Enhance adrenal/thyroid activity:

Adrenal energy boost

Inhibit fungal activity with Evening Primrose oil caps (1000 mg- 4 daily)
Get Bach rescue remedy for stress and prevention of anxiety attacks

Exercise, rest, and enjoy positive visual imagery. After a couple of months I can suggest to you other supplements to boost your immune system and balance your digestive enzymes, normalizing digestion and waste management.
